$150,000 plus. This includes the total costs of education from attending two top-tier private art colleges and pursuing a second graduate degree in Fine Arts, Critical Studies.

Over the past four years in NYC I have worked as a retail sales associate, decorative painter, artist's assistant for a public art project, art handler, security guard and an assistant maintainer/cleaner. I have also supplemented my income by the sales of a few paintings during this time. In the past, I taught at the college level, as an adjunct, for over 10 years.
Like a great percentage of artists in NYC, I am also affected by debt. The ongoing costs of paying monthly debt bills limits many aspects of my art practice. This includes the size and materials of artworks I produce and the type of space where I work. I presently share a studio in Brooklyn.
