How did you get into debt?
the cost of public higher education as well as credit cards to fund the supplies necessary to complete 2 architecture degrees in America

How does your economic reality effect your art?
I have to be selective in the materials I use, often finding the most inspiration in the reuse and recycling of materials rather than investing in the high cost of new one. The scale of my work is limited by the space I can afford to work in, which is essentially a desk. The timelines associated with the public works I design is limited to the lowest cost impact and the most volunteers that can be recruited.

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
The scale and inclusiveness of my work would no longer be a limiting factor if I was not concerned with debt. I would no longer have to work a full 40+ hour work week to fund my work, which in turn would be more time dedicated to be independent artistic practice.
