How did you get into debt?
Student loans to recieve both my associates in liberal arts and to obtain my bachelors in fine art.

Into the woods series-Blue Night, 2016, acrylic on canvas, 16x20
How does your economic reality effect your art?
It keeps me behind on shipping orders and fullfilling orders because I just do not have the funds to get materials right away. Everyday it comes down to a utility getting shut off or buying supplies. My rent is late every month and I get threats of eviction even though it is always paid by the end of the month. I can not afford car insurance and if my car is taken I will not be able to work as I need it to haul my art to sell on the square. Everyday I am juggling every piece of my life. Sometimes I fear giving up but I just can't.

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
Yes instead of living penny to penny and not being able to explore art the way I need to, I would've been able to focus and create many many more works of art and have the ability to explore many other subjects. I would like to also continue my studies and return to school to get a masters in fine art.
