How did you get into debt?
Cost of living in New York City, Graduate school loans, not making enough money to cover my expenses

"Fog" 2016, acrylic, resin, handmade lace, and silver leaf on canvas 41" x 30"
How does your economic reality effect your art?

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
I think it would be more complicated and explore artistic avenues that I haven't gone down before because I would have more money to invest in my production.
