How does your economic reality effect your art?
Due to myeconomic standing I'm am not able to afford most of my materials so I try to get them for free. As an artist I should have a studio to carry out my production but cannot afford to rent one and if I do I would need money to support the transportation of my work to the place where it will be exhibited. Even an entrance fees if needed for the exhibition.
The Cigarette, 2015, graphite pencils, pastel, acrylic paint, watercolor, pen and ink on rag paper, 17"X11"
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
The work I make would have been better because I would not be worried about paying back any loan. Instead I would be more focus on making the work the best way possible.
