Studio Work, 2016, Variable Dimensions, Graphite, paint, wood, metal, rope, wire, paper, found objects
How did you get into debt?
Traversal II, 2016. Wood, Rope, Climbing Holds, Ceiling Tiles, Fluorescent Light Cover, Graphite
How does your economic reality effect your art?
It limits time spent in the studio, locations and space to work in. It limits the materials I can use and how much of those materials, therefore limiting ideas. It limits the amount of projects I can work on at once. This all forces you to think differently, more resourcefully, more economically, maybe even more responsibly in terms of re use and recycling
Drawing Symphony, 2016, Audio, Speakers, Wood, Rope
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
In some ways yes in some ways no. Debt also effects the amount of time spent working or at the studio so I think inherently there would be a change
