How did you get into debt?
College Education / ignorance
Describe your art practice
Ever since I started making marks as a kid, I never stopped. This scribbling habit helped me learn techniques and eventually led me to the rest of art, which is more than just paint or clay. Art became a tool to investigate or reiterate the familiar, to better understand the unfamiliar, and to learn/relearn regardless of purpose or goal. Though I am open to mediums as each is simply a different tool I tend to follow the analog and hand touched, as the experience is immediate, method well captured, and the artifact adept to decay. However, I serve ideas first, so whatever is best to understand the issue or topic at hand will be what I have to learn and use. It feels like I barely just started.
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
Yes, but everything is interrelated.
