How did you get into debt?

How does your economic reality effect your art?

I attribute the change and advancement in my work to graduate school. I also attribute my depression and inability to create work to the debt. It is a chain link fence I must climb every time I want to create work. Also, I spend most of my time working to pay the debt that my own work and relationships suffer in the process.
