How did you get into debt?
I have credit cards that I have needed to use as a way to supplement projects and residencies. I also took out school loans to cover the remained of my tuition after scholarships were applied.

How does your economic reality effect your art?
It's increasingly hard to find the space to work. Studio's have become an extra cost I can't always sustain. The work then is smaller and less experimental

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
I'm not sure. That is a very good question. I suppose it would look different. A lot of my credit card debt is from art supplies and other art related endeavors.
