How did you get into debt?
I got into debt through earning an undergraduate degree with the unavoidable assistance of subsidized and unsubsidized loans.

Untitled, April 2016, Steel, 2" x 48" x 18" each; 96" x 36" x 68" overall
How does your economic reality effect your art?
Art does not get made most of the time. A lack of money for materials, tools, and space prohibit sculpture work intensely. Art goes 2-dimensional instead of its intended existence as 3-dimensional.

Study in Graphite, April 2015, Graphite, Photosensitive paper, Ink, Water, Soap, Light, Time, 8" x 10" each; 96" x 20" overall
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
Without debt, I would challenge myself to travel freely to discover new communities of art makers, source materials, and identify exhibition spots.
Untitled, May 2016, Steel, Wax, Oil Paint, Petrolatum, 24" x 36" x 29"
